Every time I drive down 1-5, I’m always struck by how beautiful the Portland Oregon Temple in Lake Oswego is. Its crisp white marble always stood out to me against the usual rainy days in Oregon and the evergreen trees that surround it. I was so happy that I would be able to work there for Alexander & Alivtina’s October wedding. I was even more excited when I heard that they would be accenting with black. It brought out the inner photographer geek in me!

Every detail had such a beautiful, modern feel which was different from their light blue sunset engagement session. (See more of it here) But, no matter what you are wearing, it’s hard to not be all smiles and full of laughter as you can see. It’s my favorite when my couples are comfortable to just be themselves when they’re around me. They were no exception.

The Portland Oregon Temple also is just so peaceful to be at. Even though it’s right off the freeway, you get a bit lost in it’s beauty and the grounds and can’t really hear the cars going by. They tend to their garden so well and it’s so well manicured. Passerby’s also wished Alexander and Alivtina congratulations several times.

The next Portland Oregon Temple Wedding I have will surely be hard to beet after this days little bit of magic. I’m so happy for them both and thankful they had me celebrate with them! Here is a bit of what she had to say.
