If there is one thing I’ve seen more than ever, it’s that love will always prevail. This year that looks a lot like more intimate weddings and elopements after many cancelations of larger weddings. I worked with Daylee Howard of Daydream Events and Designs on a really stunning branding session recently and little would we know that what she designed would be more relevant than ever during Covid-19 as her designs are perfect for an Oregon Micro Wedding.
Here is one of the best descriptions I found – “A smaller-scale celebration that typically has a guest count of 20 or less, and has a shorter and much more simplistic timeline. Most often, micro weddings will have a quick ceremony and a more casual and relaxed reception, should the couple choose to host a reception at all.” – Simplyeloped.com
While the scale of the wedding is much smaller, that doesn’t mean it can’t still be fabulous. You can still incorporate many details and personal touches that really make your wedding yours. From personal items to color choices to table settings, the options are limitless and there are no rules. Even if you opt out of hosting a reception, you can still create something special such as a beautiful arbor to use for the ceremony and then your photos afterwards. If you can dream it, you can do it and I quite literally mean that!
If your wedding plans have changed this year due to gathering restrictions or you’re just getting started with the planning process, a Micro Wedding could be for you. It would be a great option if you want to host something intimate and personal. It might be even better yet if you’re just ready to get married!
In this blog you’ll see details of not only one, but two completely different table settings at Tendue. This will help to see what you can do with a neutral space. You will also see some detail photos of smaller settings and drink serving options.
