Glam New Year’s Eve Engagement Session | Portland Wedding Photographer | Shane & Anya

When Planning an epic engagement session, there are a few things you need. Champagne Bottles, Luxurious Fur Coats and dapper vests. It’s Everything you could possibly imagine a Glam New Year’s Eve Engagement Session to be and more! I’ll be completely honest though, we had taken Shane and Anya’s engagement photos after New Year’s, so I literally waited a year to share this with you tonight. It’s the last day of the year, and decade! That makes this post extra special because it’s the last of 2019. It’s absolutely wild to me how fast the time has gone by!

I still vividly remember meeting up with Shane & Anya at Starbucks to start their session and how cold it was. We strolled around downtown Portland and enjoyed all the sights for the first half, then went to the top of a nearby parking garage for champagne pop. I’m saying it was cold, and let me say it one more time. Because it was cold.

First, we had planned for sparklers to be part of the session too but the flame kept dying out. (Note to self to bring a lighter instead of matches for the next time) Not only that, but Shane had such a hard time getting the bottle to open at first because of it. It was so worth it though in the end because we got a Glam New Year’s Eve Engagement session for these two for sure!

The year started off with a bang and truly finished in the best way. Today I’m so very thankful for every one of you that are here today, reading this post. For every client, Wedding Photographed and session planned. It’s been an amazing year and I’m so dang excited for many more!
